Safety Measures and Procedures

 

The Hay House, a property of the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation, feels a special duty to protect those who attend, participate, and staff our special events.

The safety of ALL is our number one priority. As such, attendees will need to submit proof that they are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or a negative COVID-19 test done within 48 hours of the event.

Current CDC guidelines encourage the population to get vaccinated as soon as possible and to wear a mask indoors to maximize protection from Delta and other variants and to prevent possibly spreading it to others. Properly worn masks are required unless you are actively eating or drinking.

For anyone not fully vaccinated, a negative COVID-19 test result must be obtained within 48 hours (2 days) of attending the above events (with the exception of Santa Day).

Events 2022- 2023 ATTENDANCE PROCEDURES

If you are vaccinated, please do one of the following options:

  1. Email a copy of your Vaccine Card or Vaccine Record from your computer or phone to [email protected] (preferred method due to postal delivery being unreliable), or
  2. Mail a copy of your Vaccine Card or Vaccine Record to: Hay House, 934 Georgia Ave, Macon, Georgia 31201, or
  3. Bring a copy of your Vaccine Card or Vaccine Record to Hay House at 934 Georgia Ave, Macon, Georgia 31201, between 9-4, Monday-Friday, or
  4. Bring a copy of your Vaccine Card or Vaccine Record to the Hay House the day of the event. We highly encourage attendees to send proof of vaccination prior to the event to streamline the registration process.

Protocols for indoor events at Hay House:

Any indoor event sponsored by Hay House at Hay House will require masking of staff, volunteers, and attendees unless community transmission rate is below “high” or “substantial” (as determined by the CDC or a similar metric from a health agency) one week before the event.  Whether or not masks are required, masking is always recommended. This HH policy does not countermand any ordinance or law in effect at the time of the event.

Please note that the above is subject to change.  Please check with Hay House staff for any clarification or further information.

You will not be required to submit proof of vaccination for other Hay House events once you have provided it to us.

If you are unvaccinated:

  1. Bring Negative COVID-19 test results to the Hay House the day of the event.
  2. The test must be obtained within 48 hours (2 days) of attending any event.
