Come celebrate the Hay Family and the restoration of the Hay Master Bedroom on Hay Day, Saturday, June 18, 2016. Hay Day is a biannual event that is FREE and open to the public. Come see the Master Bedroom and an array of exhibits pertaining to the Hay Family. Take a self guided tour of Macon’s premier National Historic Landmark, make a craft, and enjoy some light refreshments. This event is family friendly and is appropriated for people of all ages.

Hay House Spring Stroll of Macon Houses and Gardens 2016

May 6th  – 8th  2016

Enchanting gardens and historic home interiors await your discovery during Spring Stroll of Macon Houses and Gardens.  Recently named one of the Top 20 events in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society, this premier house and garden event, now in its 23rd year, will be hosted by Hay House on May 6-8 in historic Macon, Georgia. The event is sponsored by Riverside Ford Lincoln, SunTrust Bank, ACE Hardware, Cox Communications, Butler Automotive Group, T-Lake Enviromental, with media sponsors, The Telegraph, 13-WMAZ, Macon Magazine,  Cox Communications and Cumulus Media.

Amble at your leisure through blooming private gardens in the historic In Town neighborhood during the ever-popular  Garden Tour during the day FridaySunday. On Friday and Saturday evenings, the Historic Interiors Tour offers guests visits to beautiful private homes in the Shirley Hills neighborhood. During the weekend, ticket holders will receive a complimentary tour of Hay House, the Italian Renaissance Revival mansion (1855-59). This National Historic Landmark is renowned for its decorative arts and technological innovations, such as indoor plumbing, a speaker tube system, heating and ventilation systems. You will not want to miss seeing the exciting, current restorations underway on the third level of the mansion.
