Harvest Faire at Hay House

Come one, come all! Celebrate fall at hay house on Friday, October 30th, from 4pm-7pm in 1800’s style!

Tour the house, guided by actors in period dress. Marvel at the magician, juggler, stilt walker, and fortune teller. Kids can get in the spirit of the day by getting their face painted.

There will be a craft project for the little ones and popcorn to munch on.

This event is free to the community and sponsored by the knight foundation.


Toast and Taste Silent and Live Auction, Thursday, October 8, 2015

Join us for middle Georgia’s premier tasting event, featuring a variety of wines, brews and sprits from multiple distributors. Sample local cuisine produced by Macon’s premier restaurants and caterers. Enjoy our lavish silent and live auction with items ranging from vacation trips to fine works of art.

Movement Through Music with The Macon Pops

Come join us on the lawn for a free concert performed by the fun and fabulous Macon Pops Band on Friday, October 2nd, from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm! This event will feature arrangements by Macon Pops’ Artistic Director, Conductor & Grammy Award winning arranger, Matt Catingub along with two-time Grammy nominated drummer, Steve Moretti & some of the best hand-picked musicians from Georgia!

Hay House will be the centerpiece for this outdoor performance. Guests may bring their chairs and blankets and enjoy the show on the lawn, or at the Coleman Hill Park located across the street from Hay House. If the music makes you move, hit the dance floor!

Food trucks will be at the event so you can nosh on your favorites while you enjoy the music.


Love For All at Hay House

Couples can have the wedding of their dreams in a beautiful and historic “Palace of the South” for a fraction of the cost. All weddings will have 45 minutes and will include an officiant, professional photography services by Jerome De Gratigny, bouquets or boutonnieres, ceremony music and seating for up to 40 guests. Mini receptions will be held in the opulent Hay House dining room, where the couple will enjoy sweet treats from Anderson Bakery and a champagne toast.

Appointment times are available Saturday, November 14, between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. with couples saying “I do” every hour. The cost per ceremony is $626 to commemorate June 26. All proceeds will benefit The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation.

Wedding ceremony couples are asked to bring a valid marriage license. A maximum of 40 guests is allowed. Need more than 45 minutes? Reserve two consecutive time slots. No refunds for booked ceremonies. Wonderful preferred vendors will be provided on your special day, so no outside vendors will be allowed.
